The Autonomous Scooter Collection Vehicle (ACV)—a compact, self-driving vehicle specifically engineered to revolutionize how shared mobility fleets are maintained and distributed. Rather than reactive, labor-dependent collection, this system introduces proactive, data-driven fleet optimization that continuously adapts to real-time urban mobility patterns.
Current problem
The Escooter industry faces a fundamental paradox: while demand for micro-mobility solutions continues to grow, the operational model remains economically unsustainable and logistically inefficient.
Current systems rely heavily on human labor—"juicers" and "chargers"—who manually collect, charge, and redistribute scooters throughout cities during nighttime hours. This labor-intensive approach consumes 30-40% of operational revenue, with major operators like Lime and Bird spending between $3-8 per scooter per collection cycle in labor costs.

The foldable e-scooter design maximize collection vehicle capacity. The scooter features a streamlined folding mechanism where the handlebar stem collapses horizontally toward the deck, reducing the vertical profile. By designing scooters specifically for efficient transport and storage rather than just ridership.
